    "oceanizing" a water scent ...

Next time your purchasing from WSP add a bottle of Sea Glass to your cart :) You won't regret it lol. It's very "salty" and I absolutely love it!

    just experimenting, interesting results

I'd say it's in the normal pH range of soap, which is typically 8-12. I would suggest throwing away those strips, though, and doing a simple zap test to test it for safety. It'll be more accurate and more reliable. Not to mention it's free

    Square bath bomb mold?

Thanks Dorymae! I'm probably being entirely too picky, but all the ones I'm finding have rounded sides like this and I'm looking for a perfect cube.

    Square bath bomb mold?

Anyone here make square bath bombs? If so, would you mind sharing what mold you use? I'm looking to make more of a cube shape. I found this mold from BB, but I would prefer a plastic mold to a silicone mold.

    CP soap without palm oil

My base recipe is similar minus about 20% olive oil (which is made up with other liquid oils). I cure mine 4 - 6 weeks.

    question about EO

I agree with Dorymae. This is completely false information. The FDA only requires common names. INCI is optional, but if it's included, it should follow the common name and be in parenthesis ex. Lavender oil (Lavendula angustifolia) If it is labeled simply as soap, no ingredient list is...

I'm had a few micas that had a shimmer in soap. It's always the sparkle type micas so I'm assuming they are a larger size partical

What type of soaper are you? (humor thread)

Let's see.. I'd say I'm a Veggie (but love using milks and honey!), slightly an Oil Investor (love mango butter in soap), an Additive Type, a Ten-minute Tracer, and most definitely a major Scenter and Colorist!

25 % off everything WSP sale

Of course they let it sit! It's not as if they would want you to be extatic that it arrives a day early. They want to keep you patiently waiting until it's expected delivery date has arrived. THEN they'll move it along :)

    Phenonip and PS60 in Lotions

Yes, that's my thinking too. And perhaps it is ok to add it at high temperatures and it still do its job properly, but one or more of the ingredients are sensitive to higher temperatures, thus giving off a different smell?

    Booth Critique

I think it's incredibly cute! Love the displays! I would suggest getting some more hight in there, but if you're anything like me, you add a new display piece here and there when you can. I started out with a set up much more simple than yours. You'll get there :)

    Phenonip and PS60 in Lotions

I do for the fist batch. It was around 140ish I believe - just a minute or two after the heat and hold phase because it cooled off quickly being a small batch. The second batch I didn't measure unfortunately, but it was the same sized batch and probably sat 5 to 10 minutes after heating. Long...

    Phenonip and PS60 in Lotions

I don't think so. Thermometer said 180, but I did let my oil and water phases cool a little more before I added the Optiphen this time.. Maybe that had something to do with it?
