    Shea Butter from Soaper's Choice

Oh yeah.. I order tons! LOL Here is a quick shot of my lovely shea from CC.. and then the grainy from SC. They are little pebbles. You can melt them doing really well and then cool real quick back but IMO it's too much work and not something i have time for.

    Shea Butter from Soaper's Choice

haha! Woops!! Ok.. I thought originally you heard Crafters Choice was grainy. lol And I was saying no.. actually Soapers choice is grainy. But now I reread and see that's who you asked about. So yes.. IMO their shea is crazy grainy.

Thanks.. glad it doesn't look too off. Next time when I redo this.. I'll be making them yellow suns with orange inners. They look like a sun to me. :)

    Shea Butter from Soaper's Choice

Grainy? Not at all. I've been buying from them for over 3 years now and never had a batch come to me grainy. Overall id say I've likely bought over 600 lbs from them. Yes I go through it a lot and after testing others I like theirs the best and best pricing since ship is free and I buy 50 or so...

    Double Imbed Challenge

Decided to go pretty basic for this first one. Wanted a flower for my girls in their 3 favorite colors, pink, purple and turquoise. Each soap has pink on one side and purple on the other. Love that part and happy it worked out as planned. Ended up looking like flowers in the sky my 7 year old...

    I want a challenge...

Obsidian.. how are you thinking? I'd love to do those colors.. fabulous! Had a fire belly frog a while back but now I have my beardie dragon Roxie. :) Love my reptiles.

    I want a challenge...

I'm working on the double imbed.. that seemed the least taunting but it's still giving me challenges. My tower wants to fall over. lol That feather swirl is crazy ridiculous.. can't wrap my brain around how you do that! After this one I'm going to try another from here unless this is a total...

    Great value on soap cutters!

I would love a wavy cut one but I don't see it?

Changed my homepage to show only 5 products

Here's one of my pics.. I use a consistent piece of thick cardboard so no seam. I actually use all leftovers for my box. The actual box is an old shipping box sent to me. Cut the sides out to the right proportions, cut the front out, taped in my wax paper and slid in a white cardboard that I cut...

Can't get over how cool these soaps look and sound

I need to finally try Savon.. seems they are out of stock on the OO until 7/1 so i'll be checking back then.

    I want a challenge...

an imbed within another sound intriguing! I'll def. remember that idea. :) My columns always seem to end up the same regardless of the shape (i've use a round and square) so I never even use them anymore. Believe the square isn't supposed to go over the corners but mine always so. Which I guess...

    I want a challenge...

Oh yes I'll check it out! I've been wondering about it. And the avatar copy would def be a challenge.. So basically when I cut each piece you would see that? I've seen people do stuff like that but I'm so not an artist. I'll see about trying it and working on something. Thanks. :)

    Parchment or Freezer?

Neither lately.. after over 100 loafs and at least 1/2 with a mold I have to line, I still can't line the darn things well. I do use parchment paper from Costco. And the paper isn't so much the problem as the time and taping of the paper that drives me batty. Nothing sticks to my wooden molds...

    I want a challenge...

That sounds hard hahaha! I would end up having to HP and I hate to do that. Is there even a way to work around a cranky FO? Like one you know moves fast and such? I try to never use them and avoid like the plague. Figure there has to be another option that a cranky scent since there are so many...

    I want a challenge...

I want to soap but I've been soaping a lot lately, like 12 batches the last 20 days or so based on my notes, and I want a challenge. Trying to think of something out of the ordinary to do. I did a heat transfer last night at 10 pm but it turned out super easy. And I already have done lots of...

    One I DIDN'T want to cut... calendula/rose

Thanks again... my mom saw it today and isn't a fan of rose either but was pleasantly surprised at the scent and wants some.

    dried milk into batter

Haven't read all the replies so maybe its been pointed out.. but after my lye water cools and right before adding to the oils, I add my powdered milk and I actually stick blend it. Yeah I know.. likely a big no no but I put a towel over and around the stick and blend, then check it and keep...

    Monkey Farts Confetti CP Soap

Pretty.. you did a fabulous job! And Monkey Farts is perfect for that color combo. :) I did one like that many months ago and called it Tootie Fruity and Gumdrop (2 different scents). Kids and customers loved it.
