    Oh! THAT Dove commercial.

Even as a child (like 7, 8, 9 years old!) I hated Dove for the exact same reason. I always felt sticky and coated with some kind of residue.. I didnt know the goodness of handmade soap at the time, but I refused to use Dove and made my mom buy me different soap lol

    Recommendations for a Power Inverter?

Indoors, but under a tent. I usually have an overhead light in my booth and even outside on a sunny day it adds just a little bit of ambiance, which is mainly what I want Christmas lights for. Not to mention, with them being under a tent, my booth will be shadowed, so I think it could use the...

    Recommendations for a Power Inverter?

You don't think I could just use a battery powered inverter?

    Recommendations for a Power Inverter?

Does anybody use a power inverter for their displays? I have a Christmas show coming up and they want your booth to be decorated Christmas-y. I'm wanting to run a few strings of lights and maybe two 3-4 foot trees. I can't get electricity to my booth. For one, it's $50 for electricity on top...

    Rescuing kittens

Sorry to post and dissappear guys. They're not trapped I think it may be their home :/ They're at least 6 weeks old. The culvert goes all the way under the road, so it's easily 30 feet long. Way too long to reach in and it's too small for me to crawl through. After I left some food out, I went...

    Rescuing kittens

Don't have an ASPCA or Humane Society around here unfortunately. The only center we have doesn't come out and rescue. I've put some ham out at the mouth of the culvert for now as its all I have. The trap is a good idea cause I'm pretty sure they're feral

    Rescuing kittens

Anyone have any ideas as to how to get 2 or more kittens out of a culvert beside the road?

    I just need to rant..

Yeah unfortunately insurance isn't involved this time since it's warranty work, but that just means that the body shop is just costing themselves because I'm going to keep taking it back until it's done right :)

    I just need to rant..

Unfortunately they don't. It's a locally owned and operated body shop. And to make it worse, I'm actually kin to the owners! I hear ya Dahila! My hubby is also a mechanic, and my BIL is a body man, but since my car was going for warranty work because the shop did a shoddy job to begin with, I...

    I just need to rant..

Thanks BlackDog. I'm determined to make them fix it since it was working fine until they "fixed" it

    I just need to rant..

A few years ago, I was in a minor fender bender and had to have some body work on my car. The paint has recently started peeling, so I took it back to have some warranty work done to fix it. I go to get my car back, and my door latch is no longer working righ and something has been done to my...

    How much to bring/make?

Actually, TEG (and all the others), are correct. Soap cannot moisturize as it is against the nature of the product - soap cleans. Some soaps clean extremely well, thus stripping the skin of its oils and making us feel dry. Other soaps don't clean as well and leave some oils to remain on the...

Ylang Ylang - can anyone explain the smell?

I agree with all of the above. Ylang Ylang III smells sickeningly floral and sweet with a fake herbal undertone. In all honesty, it smells like some kind of weed that grows around here but I can't for the life of me remember what it's called.

Pokeweed Berries for a Deep Fuscia Red

Here's a comparison of the gelled vs ungelled soap. Yes. The color shift in the gelled soap was intended as I was experimenting with the juice at trace. I poured a layer, added .5 ounce of juice to my batter, poured another layer, then added .5 ounce to the final layer. Only the first and last...
