    Inconsistent coloring in HP soap

I've also used a combination of beer and aloe vera juice for the liquid part and it helps the lather too. Also gives it a nice rich color as well.

    Beeswax to harden soap

I've worked with beeswax for candles and lotion bars and have been happy, but I noticed that when I tried to include it in cp soap (that included other oils and butters as well) it was kind of difficult for me to work with because it has such a high melting point that it was hard to let it cool...

What soapy thing have you done today?

Thank you so much! That is a great color. I'm going to give it a try, but I haven't done much hot process and when I do it doesn't look that great, so I'll try cp and see what happens. Thanks for including the photos too!

What soapy thing have you done today?

Please Please Please, help with my math. My head is spinning.

When you apply THC to your skin, the molecule is too big to get into your bloodstream, so you will not get high at all, and don't need to worry that it would show up on any test (unless you ingest it). I have a topical cbd/thc oil and gel that I make and find that adding thc to the mix does...

    Infusing Oil for Soap

I make a baby balm that can also be used as a beard balm. The ingredients include calendula infused hemp oil, coconut oil, beeswax, shea butter, chia seed oil, avocado oil, vitamin e and an essential oil blend. It smells wonderful and works great! I also use it on my own dry winter skin.

    Basic Soap

Thanks for the info. I'm familiar with beer and sugar, but still have the original question that hasn't been answered, which is whether colloidal oatmeal has any effect on lather.

    Colloidal Oatmeal and lather

Thanks for the link. I might try sorbitol. That could be interesting.

    Colloidal Oatmeal and lather

Does adding colloidal oatmeal to cold process soap have any effect on lather? Reduces? Increases? Nothing? Thanks for your responses.
