Btms in the oven? I don't understand. It melts easily on the stove, along with oils or by itself. I've melted it in a sauce pan directly on the heat alone and with oils. I've also used the microwave. Are you certain you're using btms. It literally will melt in boiling water..🥴

The term lotion bar has never made sense. Someone had too much time on their hands when they tried to re-invent or rename salves and balms. 🙄🥴

😂 I got all my equipment from a thrift store and all of my oils from Walmart and lye from lowes. I used a hand mixer and everything was alright. Fun and exciting then and now. I still use all my thrift store equipment. 👍🏻😁

Made 3 batches of LS and loaded them with luxuriousness! Oatmeal/Shea Avocado/Olive and the good stuff I don't share anywhere. I've a few more batches I need to do and then it makes the lotion for the skin. 🤣🙃

Do you have a photo of the color you're looking for? I've used a couple of purples that I think came out very nice. I don't use colorants very often so I'll have to check my supplies to find the source. I believe it was ultramarine from WSP or Make-your-own.buzz
