Adding moisturizing properties to shaving soap

I agree with TEG. Your recipe would help to troubleshoot. I make a shaving soap that doesn’t leave the skin tight. However, moisturizing in a soap is subjective. I don’t think soap is moisturizing but less cleansing.

Temp controlled lye tank + soap base for masterbatchers?

I wouldn’t maintain any heat. I don’t want to degrade the oils. I mix in a 5 gallon bucket and mix well before dispersing. My lye is master batched and used at room temp.

    Fragrance Oil Storage--Plastic?

I’ve not had a problem with long term storage in NGs bottles. I do open them periodically to let some air out. Haven’t noticed that it affects the scent in the soap at all.

Not quite sure where to post this.. ? About my soap

I use mostly FO myself. Cost is one factor the other is I can get fragrances that you can’t get with EO and I’ve found less issues on the skin with FO than EO. It’s a personal choice.

    Curing in plastic container

They will not cure in the tube. You will need to remove them and slice them to get them to cure. They need air circulation and 4-6 weeks.

    Liquid pool over soap mold

It looks like it may have overheated. Your lye and oils don’t have to be the same temp. If yit’s u post your recipe and process we can probably better help you. I would just leave it and see if it reabsorbs.

    Question about oil quantity

Hello and welcome. I’m not quite understanding what you are asking. If you have a recipe, you need to run it through a soap calculator for how ever many ounces of soap you want to make. I highly recommend always measuring in grams for the most accurate results.

    Looking for cupcake molds

Any of them should be fine as long as they aren’t too flimsy. I think I got one set from Amazon and one from Michael’s.

    Shrink wrap re-do's

That is perfectly normal. I usually have to retouch them between shows when I do them. They still seem to shrink even after a long time.

    Possible Standard Recipe

I personally think you have too much cleansing oils in the soap. CO and PKO at 30% is too high. But if you like it go for it. Also, I don't use anything at 5% except castor oil. And I don't like a lot of butters in my soap, I find it affects the lather, but again personal choice. I use...

Getting strong fragrances out if molds

I use silicone molds and have never had the fragrance carry over to another batch. I just wash them in hot soapy water and let them dry. Some scents stick around longer than others. But, again no carry over to other soaps made in same molds. I've been using the same molds for years and years.

    Salt soap cure time

I do the same as dibbles I cure them 4-6 weeks then put them in raspberry flats from Costco or Baseball card boxes to finish curing. I put them away for about a year.
