good blend for a honey & oat CP soap?

Orange Patchouli is wonderful. I put colloidal oatmeal in all my soaps so I didn't think of that blend especially for oats and honey. Dark Patchouli EO helps a lot of soaps!

good blend for a honey & oat CP soap?

I thought light tan was a perfect colour for OMH soap so I leave it that way. I also use bubble wrap to make it look like honeycomb.

    old essential oils

I agree. I have used these many times and they performed well. Perhaps it would be different for the full therapeutic effect but if that's not what you're after, they are fine to use.

good blend for a honey & oat CP soap?

For that soap I use WSP's original Oatmeal Milk & Honey. And yes, it has colloidal oatmeal, goat milk and honey in it. It's very popular.

    Mom's long journey

A dear old man once told me, "They say the molasses is in the bottom of the cup, but it's not true." @cmzaha, with all the rest, my heart goes out to you. Talk to us till your heart is empty.

    Charcoal issue

Yes that's the one in the middle. I used charcoal instead of mica. And a mesh sieve instead of a colander. The streaks stay until you get into the bar far enough that they're washed away.

    Charcoal issue

Well I guess I'm the odd one out. I add my charcoal directly to the pot at light trace and stick blend. Never had any issues with clumping or streaking. I did have the issue of streaking with a charcoal pencil line.

Lotion bar packaging other than tins?

I use regular size wind up deodorant containers.

    20% off of Everything WSP

How nice of you. Are you in Canada? I'd be happy to send you some of mine too, so you can compare. How ironic that I just did a big clean out and threw all my little glass bottles out because I wasn't using them!

    Usage Rates

I'm confused. And probably shouldn't be for as long as I've been making soap and lotion. IFRA Maximum Skin Exposure Soap: 3.90% Body Lotion: 7.50% Hand Cream: 1.70% This is WSP's listing for their vanilla. Why would soap, a wash off product be less that body lotion, a leave...

    20% off of Everything WSP

Yes I noticed that. Also NG states that their perfumist created theirs. I guess I meant "almost the same?" Poor choice of words.

My Volcano came from NG. I wonder if it's the same?

    Orange cologne fragrance oil

I agree, not the best quality. I like NDA's E.O.s but not many F.O.s.

    Lye!

Sorry! Like @ KiwiMoose said, it's kg. Not sure what made me say liters!

    Lye!

Do Canadian soapers have a better place to buy lye than Home Hardware? When I started making soap I paid $15/3 liters. Today it is $42.99!

Ingredients For Sale Fragrance Oil Destash: Canada

Just the ones I would have chosen! But I simply can't buy more till I use up some of mine.

    Orange cologne fragrance oil

I have never smelled Happy, but I had a couple thoughts. I use Happy Men from NDA. Also from your description I thought of Blood Orange and Meyer Lemon from WSP. These are all FOs. Meyer Lemon has a musky base. You can mix EOs and FOs to get what you want. A little Lemongrass would crisp it up...

Thanks. Yes, when I realized my mistake I headed straight over to EO Calc and found it!

    EOCalc.com Blend Reviews

Oh sorry, I was too hasty. I didn't take time to look properly. Woodland popped into my mind because of my mistake in ordering Woodland Themes from NDA. Advice: don't do it.

Would that be NDA's Woodland Themes FO?
