    Lotion bar recipe question

Mr. @Zing is who got me into making lotion bars actually :) My beeswax is a tad bit more than yours, and I have my butter and oil amounts switched, not exactly though but more or less. Try yours and see. If it's too soft then add more butter and take notes of your measurements so you can adjust...

    Triple rice soap

Here ya go sweets.. Quoted from a couple of posts above. I measured by total amount of water though, not PPO. Somewhere above (or maybe in her own threads) Misschief also mentions her amount. Soapzoom mentions what she thought to try for CP too, if that helps

    Reusable mold liners

Not a problem for me and my HP lol thank you! The ones I saw were labeled EVA as well. I'll try a sheet first on a smaller mold I think. How long does one last you think?

    Reusable mold liners

Ooh first time I've heard of those! Do you mean these? What thickness is yours please? I've found 1, 2 & 3mm

    Reusable mold liners

Ok so wait.. Lol What I saw labeled as Teflon sheets for heat transfer What I saw labeled as oven liners What I saw labeled as dehydrator sheets They all look similar to me, with the second one looking slightly stiffer.

    Reusable mold liners

I'm glad you mentioned that yours are stiffer. Mine's floppy, the one in the pic. So maybe it's a labeling issue with this particular one coz it does say silicone then it also says glass fiber lol. I did see the black stuff, but now I'm unsure whether I should and could trust those labels haha...

my soap is too soft and not holiding shape help me

You will need to try to understand water and lye ratio/concentration. I realize there could be some language issues - maybe someone here can explain it to you - but there is a lot more going on than just increasing and decreasing water and lye amounts. In general, the more soft oils you use...

Look what I woke up to!

I've found that a lot of stirring helps with rebatch, like it does regular HP, in terms of fluidity and overcooking/overheating. I guess the more you're looking at it, the better you can tell when to stop cooking lol

    Lotion bar recipe question

Your final recipe will also have to factor in the climate where you live.. If it's generally hotter where you are you might have to increase your beeswax and/or hard butter from the general 1:1:1 wax/butter/oil consensus. If it's a humid place, you'll do better with less greasy ingredients too...

    Reusable mold liners

@AliOop does yours look like this up close? That's the one that tore, you can see the tear. It's vaguely labeled as a baking sheet, made of "coated glass fiber." I did see some black ones, and some brown. Mine came in big sheets. The product in your link says "high grade fiberglass cloth...

    Reusable mold liners

Oooh.. I'll have to check what we have here that's similar as I've never heard of anything called "oil cloth" here. She did say it was used for picnic tables so that's a start... Maybe some of the "plastic table cloths" I saw is similar. Thank you :)

Yes! Shalebrook Handcrafted Soaps.. I like watching her too. Watched her a little too close in my early days too hehe

    Mashed Banana Soap

My first banana soap is here. They lightened up lots over time, to a light tan. Speckles stayed. I also use blended overripe bananas, also considered as water replacement. It's nice soap :)

    Reusable mold liners

That looks like the ones I found, item no. 7. Maybe I'll order one. Hmmm.. If you beat me to it, lemme know how it goes, yeah? :)

So I'm Thinking of Adding a New Product.....

Brow soap is a thing here! Never tried it though.. Here's a list of ingredients I found and bookmarked, coz I wanted to study it (probably won't make it though lol) "Ingredients: Water, sucrose, stearic acid, sorbitol, lauric acid, palm (ELAEIS GUINEENSIS) oil, coconut (COCOS NUCIFERA) oil...

    Clay Soap Has Clumps

Yo girl! :) When I'm lazy to premix, I add the clay to my oils slowly, like sprinkle a little at a time, blend, sprinkle again, til there's no lumps. So far so good haha There's a "lots of clay" recipe somewhere but I can't remember right now where I read it. Do note that most of the clays...
