It is absolutely true. So many people here are acting like there are no concerns. My son and I went to Costco a few days ago and we were 2 of the few people who were wearing masks within the store. There were elderly and what appeared to be a woman with cancer, not taking any precautions at...
Staying close to home this year, I have spent more time on growing my garden. I ate one ripe tomato so far (on a plant not pictured) that was a Sungold, and it was delicious! I am hoping all the rest start ripening soon. My potato plants are almost 3 feet tall currently, so hopefully they are...
I wish I had kept notes on each EO blend I have done so I would recall what amounts I liked best. I am thinking somewhere in the 10 to 20% range of the EO total, if I recall correctly. Enough to notice it but not have it overwhelm the total scent.
I have never used bergamot but have been wanting to, so it is included in my latest order. The lavender I get is 40/42 as well, I tend to favor litsea over lemongrass.
Have you tried black pepper in with your citrusy smelling soaps? I love a little black pepper mixed in as well. It is quite...
My cousin LOVES everything patchouli so I am getting it to make her some soaps. I am going to try mixing it with some other oils I have and see what blends well.
I just put in an order a couple of days ago for some of my favorites. Peppermint, Lavender, Litsea Cubea, Lemon grass (litsea and lemongrass are almost the same scent...at least I find them very similar) Patchouli.
My family is doing as well as can be expected, considering the events happening in the world currently. I had begun to become concerned about the covid 19 virus once I saw it was starting to spread beyond China and saw the numbers in countries such as Italy and South Korea starting to rise, so...

I am not aware of any of the gyms in our city having a steam room. Even if it didn't kill the cold itself, it actually sounds like a great way to spend 20 minutes. :)
I am just hoping this cold stays in my head where I will be over it in less than a week. So far it has and I am hoping with a...
Thanks! I am most definitely planning to pamper myself for a bit and make sure I get a lot of sleep. I am not willing to go that route again quite so soon. :)
My gripe of the day makes more sense if I go back in time a bit. The first week of September I caught a cold from my son. My lungs are my weakest link, so once it got into my chest I started my chronic cough. Totally typical as I take a couple of months or more to fully recover from a cold...
Thank you everyone! And thank you @earlene for hosting this challenge. It got me to try something totally new that I had been curious to attempt but may not have otherwise. congrats to the winners and to all the other challengers as they were all entries to be proud of.
Thank you for everyone who gave me a vote! I did not expect to place at all with all the beautiful entries so I am truly appreciative! Congrats to @dibbles, @mommycarlson and @Mobjack Bay :)
I make goat milk soap about 50% of the time and have never gotten a bad smell from the bars, during or after cure. Maybe it is your fragrance oil? My unscented goats milk bars have almost no smell to them at all, and the ones that I have added fragrance or EOs to have had no off odors and...
