    Post your Gripe

I've gained 15 lbs this year and now none of my cold weather clothes fit. I decided to order a wool skirt online a size up from what I was last year- and I still can't get the zipper up Looks like I need to try to resell it and find something else to wear to Thanksgiving.

OMG, Have you seen the prices for Fragrance oils at BB?

If not tariffs it may have to do with the rising popularity of EO multi level marketing companies. Increased demand will mean higher prices

Sand as a heat regulator for cavity molds?

In Pakistan there is a method of brewing coffee where a bed of sand is heated from below and the brewer pushes a metal cup of water and grounds into the sand to heat it. In bet you could easily adapt to this method with some type of heating plate and a pan of sand!

How do you clean after Soap making ?

Thank goodness, I'm new to soap making and this is what I do. I wasn't sure if waiting until the next day was right, but i would rather wash fully saponified soap than oily lye

How to figure how much oil for mold.

If only I had seen this post 12 hours sooner. I measured my mold in cm, calculated ml from there and converted ml to oz. My batch was allllmost perfect for my mold, but I had about 2.5 oz of extra batter. I had to rush an find my 4 oz cube mold from my supply area for the excess!

What soapy thing have you done today?

Hi, this is my first comment on the forum. I am new to soap making an about 12 hours ago (so techniqually "today" ;D) I made my first pure castille soap. 22 oz batch with 0% superfat and a 50% lye solution.
