How do you choose your color palettes?

I bought these to help with my coloring. They will be arriving next week. I can’t do complimentary colors well at all, so this will help.

I also use a paper towel and continuously press and massage the bag with the paper towel to ensure it is all mixed up. It’s actually easier for me to tell when all the streaks are gone as I can see specks on the bag if it is still not mixed properly. I never tried the palette knife as I figured...

What soapy thing have you done today?

I like to put my neon pigment in a plastic bag with some oil and then I massage the bag to break up any clumps. Works every time to give me a smooth pigment.

What soapy thing have you done today?

What soapy thing have you done today?

Thanks to WSP and BB sales I bought a lot of fragrance oils. Then went over to indigo fragrances and bought some more. Since I make small batches I generally buy the trial sizes or 1-2 oz bottles. I am able to buy more fragrances due to the small sizes. All of these are completely new to me...

How do you choose your color palettes?

My orange juice soap is black and off White with a hint of gold and my green apple scent is bright pink and blue. Why did I choose those colors? No clue, but I needed to shake things up.

How do you choose your color palettes?

I just look online for inspiration. I do have a color wheel that I printed off years ago. I’m more of a pigment and neon girl and love bright colors. I don’t use a lot of mica in cp soap unless it’s a color I have trouble creating myself. I am pretty good with mixing colors to get what I want...
