I really enjoy ordering from FWNL, the sample stuff they let you pick out is pretty neato. Considering ordering a whole gallon of glycerin even though I just got 2 bottles from WSP. I just can't believe the cost for it, honestly it looks like an error. They even offer palm free glycerin as well...

One can coat it. Cyanoacrylate (super glue) would probably work, they use that for turned things like pens and rings.

Imagine my dad's bemusement when at 5 years old I argued bricks weren't red. "Red? No the stop sign is red. Bricks are a different color!" Children are funny creatures as I'm learning now with my own.

For shame! Yes. 😭 I caught it right as I started squeezing. It did quite bother me, but there was no going back. I debated on whether to swap out the others to make it truly random but I was afraid to make it worse lol. Take heart that at least the top matches the drops!

This stuff isn't easy to find, but dang that would be a neat smell in small doses that I'd be interested in incorporating. I personally wish the woodiness of my unrefined shea would show up in the final product.

Very interesting. SMF calc has the same exact numbers. Various sources have slightly different values, but are pretty consistent in myristic acid being ~70%. New Directions Aromatics has a nice certificat showing the specs, I love sites that do this as I can adjust in SoapMakingFriend through...
