am trying to rebatch but the oils are still floating on top while the solids stay settled on the bottom. Might have to start from scratch. Thanks for the help anyway.

(What essential oils did you use, exactly? I ask because some are known to cause problems- such as clove EO and other spice-based EOs. ) Fragrance was from Hobby Lobby. "Something Fabulous"

I tried a recipe using 9.7 oz lye, 1lb 8 oz water, 2lb 10oz olive oil, 1lb 5oz coconut oil, 4 tbl. castor oil and 3 oz essence oil fragrance. When I added the fragrance the oil rose to the top while the bottom started clumping (looks like rice?) Is there any saving this?

I am new to all of this. Could someone tell me if the measurements in the recipes (24 oz olive oil, 32 oz water, etc.) are all these measured with a scale, or are some of these done with measuring cup? This might be a stupid question, I just want to make sure I know what I'm doin before I get...
