Is there anywhere in the soapcalc to add the sugar or you don't really factor it in to your recipe?? Just add it to your notes on the bottome???

I've been letting my lye get down around 110-100 and just going for it, I don't even really check what my oils are. I can't say this is "right" but it's been working for me!

That's AWESOME!!!!!!!! But I don't see how a rubber stamp would work.......I was thinking of having a stamp made at an office store to use, but I don't know how to do it. A metal one would "cut" in in a sense and that I understand. Has anyone used a rubber stamp?????

How do you do this?? I've seen some stamps but how is this done? If it's not in a mold I just don't see how you would do it. Anyone ever done it??

Grinding might be an option.....and maybe sprinkle on top too?? For this batch i'm trying to be very natrual, no FO just the herb. I see your point with the turd effect.....but turds do occur nature!!!! Hmmmm, this is about to get interesting!!

I dried some Lavendar and am ready to make soap with it! I was thinking of makeing like a "tea" with it and using the tea with my lye. but i was wondering do I need to keep the actual chunks out of the lye mix and add dry ones later? or can I just throw the herbs into the hot water let it cool...

Can you add "powdered sugar" to any recipe to get more bubbles? And stick to this ratio 1 Tablespoon per pound of soap you are making?? Am I understanding this clearly??????? Just add it to the water, stir till it's disolved, add the lye and move on as normal??????

I was just coming to post about my Zap!! I just checked it again and it's about 98% Zap free! So I"m just letting it chill on the shelf for a bit and see what happens! Well, I sorta funneled! the bottom half is Funneled! then it got thick on me! the top is kinda swirled! I did Pink and White scented with Baby Poweder FO. I'll post pics tomorrow when I unmold! I really think I just didn't mix it enough. This one firmed up like all my others.. I feel good...
