    It's CP and it's hard, it just looks like strange brownies and still doesn't smell great. I did put some vanilla sugar FO in it, so I'm just letting it cure and we'll see how it goes.     Well the whole thing looks like the top now, as it dried it all turned dark brown. My friend today did think they were brownies till I smelled it and made a bad face! It still doesn't smell great!

    Thanks! I used ice cube trays! I'm excited to get trays in all different shapes! I think they will be fun christmas presents in all differents shapes and smells! Don't you think??!?? I even found a "Homer Simpson" ice cube tray for my brother's christmas soaps, I think it will be too funny!

    THe Term "Gell"

    Ok, so here is my first batch EVER. I used the base recipe from the "everything soap making book" and put some "sweet Vanilla Sugar" FO in it. I used ice cube trays as my mold. It was a one pound batch and I think it looks good. I made it on August 1st so it should be just about ready to use...

    When you say "gell" do you just mean when the soap hardens in the mold? Or do you mean the kind of soap that has a jelly middle? I saw pics of soap with a jelly middle but I thought that was an accident......No?

    So, I'm price checking for Palm Kernal Flakes and it seems to me that Brambleberry is the best buy. They want close to $4 for 2lbs when everywhere else I've looked wants $4 for one lb. Am I crazy?? That's a big difference!! Where are all of you shopping??
