    Just another thought, would scraping the vanilla bean and adding it at trace work? Maybe infusing the bean in the oil before using like a week before. Any thoughts on these ideas? I love vanilla, it's my favorite :D

    Dorado, you said you use them for liquid soap, do you melt them and add water? I like the laundry idea too. Do you just shred the pieces. I am sorry to be so ingnorant, but it is all new to me. Just started this Spring :(

    This is my very first post here. Had a class on soap making 3 weeks ago and have bars curing for the last 3 weeks. I just made my first batch 3 days ago. My question is, how do you know when the soap has cured enough to use it? Do I need to wear gloves to handle the soap when I remove it...
