What have you had the most success with for a gardener's handsoap, oatmeal, coffee grounds or cornmeal? How much PPO would you use of either and what scent would you find most attractive for it? Florals? Citrus? I need to get some made, I promised I'd have it this spring! TIA

How do you use yours? I can't get mine to dissolve. I've been putting it in a cup, using either water or oil to dilute before pouring it into the oils and lye. It's the powder from BB and says you can use either. Not having much luck with it!

I don't OP my milksoaps. It kind of eliminates the whole idea of freezing the milk to mix the lye. With mine I either let them gel with no tops as they already get pretty warm, or I no-gel them in the freezer. That said, I did the same thing you did when I first started...it was a horrible...

Give it a couple days. All of my honey soaps wind up smelling like honey in the end. Gel or no gel. :D
