Thanks ! They came out ok today... I will definitely soap at at least 30% Lye solution from now on - preferably 33%. The only reason I tried at full water is that I used half goat's milk and needed more liquid since I needed to mix the water solution at 50%. Mike

Thanks so much!! - I will try a batch at 33% today. My 30% batches turned out wonderful I just unmolded my two 27% batches this morning nad they look great but they are totally flat!! Thanks again! This is a great hobby - so many variables! Mike

Hi All, Just wanted to share a great EO blend I just used for a batch of soap. I used 4 parts lavender, 1 part vetiver and 1 part blood orange. For my 2.6 lbs of oils I used about 3 tbsp of the mix. (1 1/2 oz) It smells wonderful! Mike

Hi All. Happy Halloween! Was curious to know if I am able to mix ultramarines and oxides with a tad of glycerin to color some CP soap? Would these powders mix well with Glycerin and is a little bit of added Glycerin ok for a CP soap recipe without changing anything? I mixed some Oxides...

I use freezer paper (reynolds brand) and it hasen't ripped on me yet. Mike

Thanks! - I should have waiting until tomorrow to cut them but I just cut them up into bars and they look great!! Do you see less of the "cutting marks" if you wait a full 24 hrs when the loaf is harder when cutting? I will take some pics tomorrow and post them here. Mike
