    Sugar Cubes

Thanks for the advice Mayren... I am going to try the 50/50 oils/butters :-) I've already tried a couple of the sugar scrubs and they are awesome!

this is a first for me... weird separation?

Krissy - this should probably go into another thread, but do you have problems with your soap turning orange? Even though I added the GM at trace, it still has an orange tint. Maybe it was from the gelling? I read somewhere that you're not supposed to let a GM soap gel.

    Sugar Cubes

Well, I tried making some... mine are a little oily. Are they supposed to be kind of wet? I coated them with white sugar and they look better. I'm using grapeseed oil because it is light and absorbs into the skin pretty well. I'm wondering if I should try using the coconut oil instead.

    Signature Logo In The Soap

I haven't seen those before.... cool, silicon tube molds! Wow, they are expensive too LOL That would be cool to have a signature with a little heart in each loaf! You should try that one :-)

this is a first for me... weird separation?

I made a goat's milk soap (with nothing else, no colorants, no fragrance, etc) and it looks like oil has puddled a bit on the top. I made the soap loaf a week ago, it's already been sliced and is curing. Still, some of the soap has an oily coating just on the top. I'm hoping that as it cures...

    Signature Logo In The Soap

The only thing I've seen is the stamps that people use to "brand" their soaps. Some of them are really pretty neat.

I have a soap that I want to scent with a FO containing 1% vanilla. I do not want the color to turn brown so I ordered some of the vanilla stabilizer for CP from WSP. These are the directions from WSP: So, question #1 is how much vanilla stabilizer do I use for 2 oz of FO that has a...

    what kind of olive oil

I made a loaf of 100% Olive Oil Castile soap last weekand I used the dark EVOO.... at first I was kind of worried about the soap ending up dark and ukkky green colored. But, after pouring and then cutting the next day, I was rather surprised at how light it was. And, it seems as a week has...

    Oven with CP?

How Long? Just wondering.... on the CPOP, I pre-heated my oven to 170 degrees, made my soap, put it in the mold, turned my oven off (just left the light on inside the oven) and then put my freshly poured CP into the oven. I just checked on it (put it in the oven around 2 PM this afternoon --...

    Need Help with Burgundy

I am trying to create a cranberry/burgundy/red color - I've done a search and found several ideas that people have posted about mixing colors, etc. But, has anyone had any experience using the TBK Colorona Bordeaux or Glitter Bordeaux mica? Just wondering if it would give a color of cranberry...
