    Best Peony Fragrance Oil

Hello and happy new year friends! Can anyone recommend a good Peony fragrance oil for CP soap? I was using one from BB but it’s double the cost of all my other FOs so I’m trying to find something a bit more affordable for a client. I haven’t been reading great reviews from some other...

50/50 solution and additional liquid question

Tried this approach yesterday and it worked well. The only downside was that the lye solution heated back up to 200 degrees once additional water was added. thank you for your response. What temperature are your fats at when you soap?

50/50 solution and additional liquid question

Thank you for responding. I added the extra water to the lye solution and threw in some silk to see what would happen. The lye solution reheated up to almost 200 degrees and the silk looks like it mostly dissolved. Good that it dissolved, not good that the solution heated up so high. I’ll have...

50/50 solution and additional liquid question

The video I watched was on soapequipment.com. They have quite a few up there and I listened to two different methods. When you add more water to the 50/50 solution does it heat up the lye again? I know heard that on the video. I’m curious because I haven’t been able to add the silk since I use...

Hi all! Me again :-) I have a question regarding the 50-50 lye solution. I’m making much larger batches of soaps in 18 5 lb molds. I’d like to break the batch up for two fragrances. Before using 50/50 solution, this wasn’t a problem. However now, the batch is accelerating trace much faster...

    Fragrance oils & discoloration

That may just be it! Gel phase. Since it’s gotten a bit colder out, I did cover the soaps with a lid and a blanket. I didn’t cover with a blanket before. As far as a reformulation, no it is the same as always. Thank you for replying :)

    Fragrance oils & discoloration

Hi again, I have used the same fragrance oils from the same business for the last three years. I’ve never had a problem with discoloration (unless it was a known discolored like vanilla.) I’ve recently changed the way that I’m soaping. I’ve switched to using a 50/50 solution as Im getting...

    Coconut Oil help

Hi all, Just bought this coconut oil (picked it up so I didn’t hand pick it myself) and would like your thoughts as to whether it’s any good? Smells fine. Top was almost gooey, the rest looks normal but from the side, something’s up. Expiration not till 2025. Thanks for your input!

QuasiQuadrant's Stellar Method for EO Blends That Stick

Will this work with Fragrance Oils as well? Is the castor taken from the batch oils or is it considered to be part of the super fat? Thanks to all!
