Ok, everyone! Here’s my first CP soap bar! I tried a little color, but since my base recipe wasn’t really white, it turned a not so pretty color. But, I’m shocked that I made it at all!!

The color looks “baby blue” to me and I think it’s nice. Did you use mica?

No, I used a soap dye in small dropper bottles. I think they’re glycerin based?? It is a blue, but yellow and blue make green, so it’s a little on the greenish gray side. It’s not fugly, but it’s not beautiful either, lol! I’m excited to learn decorative techniques as I gain more experience...

Looks blue or maybe grayish, I like it too. Congrats on your first soap.

Thanks!

Looks like a cloud.:)
Aww! Thanks, lol! It certainly feels like it’s going to be a good creamy facial bar (which is what I was going for)

I agree. Congrats :)
Thanks! Y’all are so very encouraging!

I love the free form soap shape! And agree the color of cloud is perfect for the shape—who says soap has to have perfect corners anyway??
