Ever do something you KNOW won't work, but you do it anyway? Here's mine. Made lavender soap with FO I knew would accelerate. At very light trace I mix in FO, THEN decide to throw in a few drops of Grape Pop mica. Voila....polka dot soap. Geeeesh.

If you didn't do something you *knew* wouldn't work then you'd never be 100% positive. I do stuff all the time that I don't think will work.... but the scientific method is all about testing, testing, testing...

I think it looks nice. If I didn't know I would have thought you did that on purpose. I bet if you tried to do it on purpose you would have a hard time.

I think it is beautiful!

I did something not too long ago that I knew wouldnt work too, I made some float soap and thought I would color it with mica that I had mixed with melt and pour. Float soap is cold, melt and pour is hot...THEN I decided that I would use the float/chunk soap to decorate cupcake soap. The soap got stuck in the tip of the decorating bag so I had to force it through, it shot all over my kitchen. Boy was that fun to clean up. lol

I agree with the common consensus--looks great!

I think we visualize and when actuality does not match that image we saw in our mind, we don't think the reality looks good--even when it does!

Hey, thanks y'all....you guys are really GREAT!! It's starting to grow on me....had 3 people look at it yesterday and they alll liked it, too! Guess I'll have to start saying yep, I meant to do that. So now the big question is, can I duplicate the ****oo?!! Used up the last of the lavendar in this batch, so I'll have to wait a few days to try.

Lemons into lemonade, right!?!!!

It's nice looking soap. :)

Maybe just try to do the same thing again and hope it works for the best.

Good luck. :D

You just may have inadvertently come up with the alternative to "mouse poo" (lav. buds)! I think it's awesome. Nice mistake!
