Has anyone used this scent before? Just wondering how brown it will get. They don't carry it anymore apparently.

I had to email them for max use levels and vanilla content since they don't carry that FO anymore. Here they are.

IFRA Maximum Use Level:
Lip Products: 0.00%
Lotions, Creams, Perfume: 4.30%
Body Powder: 5.40%
Bar Soap: 13.50%
Candles & Potpourri: 100.00%

Vanilla Content: 0.07%

The vanilla is pretty low so I'm thinking the browning will be minimal. I will update this when I soap it!

I got this FO when it was on clearance at WSP...last year I think. I haven't soaped it yet, but it makes AWESOME whipped sugar scrub. I also use it as a mixer when I make lotion scents. I'd love to know how it soaps. Make sure to post your comments! :D

Just looked at my notes on this FO. I'm showing vanilla at 7%. Hmm...mine could be wrong, but it does have a very strong vanilla and cake batter fragrance in it.

it's likely 7%

0.07 = 7%, so I'm guessing there was a typo somewhere along the way.

I copied and pasted what they emailed to me and I was thinking that seems pretty low! I haven't soaped it yet, still wondering how brown it will get.

Soap it! Soap it!

It will probably go very brown, but the fragrance is sooooo good.

I want to! I'm putting it off because I know I'll be mad when it turns brown. Ruiiiiined!

I used to really dislike my soaps turning brown, but I've learned to embrace it, especially if the fragrance is fabulous. All the wonderful vanillas and pink sugar taught me that. I've been thinking about soaping this and if I do I would probably leave out a portion and color it yellow and maybe a TD swirl to add some interest. I think it would make a nice fall fragrance and design, as well.
