So.....the magazine is no longer available to view on line, now you have to purchase it? If so, that's sad, and I'd bet in the long run that they made more money by having people buy products they saw in the magazine and to try their recipes and ideas than they will make by selling the physical magazine.

I noticed that. What a shame. I'm certainly not going to purchase it. I agree that they probably got more business with people purchasing items to try out some of their ideas than they will get from folks buying their magazine.

It is a shame. I always looked through it when I got the notice in my mailbox, and I have made purchases based on what I saw there. I will not be buying it either. Too bad they didn't offer both. Some people may have liked a hard copy, while others preferred to look on line. Oh well, maybe I'll drop them a line. Nothing to lose.

I agree with everyone else that they probably made more money off people browsing the magazine and buying the materials to make the recipes then they ever will from selling the magazine itself. I'm not going to be buying it either even though I enjoyed looking through it and occasionally making the products they had in it.

Me too, I thought the magazine was very well done and creative, but wouldn't have any desire to purchase it. I think it is a poor business decision to give it for free and start charging for it, at least the online version should be available without charge.

I sent them an email, but haven't heard anything so far. I'll let you know what they have to say when I do. Aline, you can still look at old copies on their website.

I love the print magazine and am willing to pay for it, BUT with their new minimum, you can't JUST purchase the magazine - you've got to buy $35 more in product. Bad move.

I found some issues very informative, if there is something on the front page I want to read, I will buy it. I just won't buy every issue. My local newspaper just started charging for the online version, they said the costs to put it out were just too much. It was either charge or stop doing. it.

Just to update you, I received a reply from the email I sent WSP regarding their decision to discontinue their online magazine in favor of a print version. They indicated that they had received many requests for the print version, and that content from the magazine would appear in the education section of their website. Ah well.

I actually wrote them and asked about it. They told me all the recipes and I think they said the articles you would be able to find on the web site. Sorry I guess I don't quite remember what they said. I too enjoyed looking at the online version but I will not but it either. I have missed it but honestly I did not use it much, I enjoy making up my own recipes!

Sorry Navigator I didn't see your reply about your email.
