Okay, I feel almost sheepish for ordering from this company- I've read all of the threads about their changing practices, particularly in terms of pricing and shipping, but I have also read a lot of good reviews of their scents, so I was curious...I ordered Indigenous and this one, and I have to say, they both smell AMAZING!!
I did a CPOP swirl with this one, but I just BARELY made the swirl..this one also seized on me! I was cautious and ready for the worst, so it seems to have worked out, but man, the last (and second) color I poured ended up spreading across the top of the soap a little; it moved that fast.
So, do WSP scents tend to seize like this, or did I just happen to pick two that do??
I did note the expense of the oils; it seemed like a lot but I decided to bite the bullet and go for it. They have a vast array of scents and these were two that I really wanted to try.

They seem very strong, too. This is another that I could have probably cut my usage from 1 oz per pound, but WOW it is divine, I have opened the oven a couple of times today just so I could catch a good long whiff of it.

I really want to sit down and do a cost analysis/comparison. I live in eastern WA, and I order from Brambleberry mostly, Oregon Trail sometimes, just did my first NDA order. Shipping is expensive even from BB- I still am stunned sometimes by their shipping costs just across the state.

I think you just managed to pick a couple that seized. I haven't had problems with their FOs (or EO blends). And no one is saying their FOs aren't good quality, they definitely are, at least I think so. I've liked just about every FO I've gotten from there. Their business practices are what stinks about them. People are just not interested in giving them anymore of their money :p Myself included.

I agree that you probably picked two essential oil blends that just cause speedy trace. I adore the chamomile neroli blend but I soap cool and use a whisk instead of stick blender (don't even attempt a swirl). This essential oil blend really sticks great in the cured soap, too (I think you will love it!). I know a lot of people have problems with the business practices at WSP, but there are just some eo blends and fo's that are so wonderful that I will probably continue to order. Some of the fo's I used to get from WSP I have started getting from other companies with more reasonable pricing. If you do order any more eo blends from WSP, you may want to consider the "rainforest" blend. It is another yummy blend that is a must-have for me. :)

Although I have not used those two particular scents I have used several other of their EO Blends and never had trouble with seizing. I also soap cool. Maybe try using them in a whipped soap, you can't soap much cooler then that.
