Soap on the left: my first-ever CPOP attempt, and first attempt at 34% lye concentration. Colored with activated charcoal (broke open some drugstore capsules, maybe added too much), TD, gold mica on top. Some random drop swirly stuff happening. Scented with AH/RE Woolen Blanket which is lovely, but should have added 1 oz/ppo for CPOP instead of 0.5oz/ppo. When I sliced it today, some tiny tiny pockets started weeping. Zap tested and it zapped. :( I really really don't want to rebatch. Is there any other way?

Soap on the right: my first-ever crockpot HP which is not a rebatch. Scented with NG Oatmeal Milk n Honey. No colorant. Also added a tbsp of leatherwood honey and used sheep's milk yogurt in place of water. My silicone mold bowed out a ton from the weight of the super-fluffy HP batter, so these bars are gigantic, like 7 oz. The OMH smell is quite light - I need to stop using 1 oz samples when my loaf is almost 3 lbs.

I've had lye water seep on top, and if I leave it...as long as there aren't any crystals, it reabsorbs. I also have had fo seep with lye heavy zap (tasted heavily of the fo, so that's why I said that). Anyway, waited and it reabsorbed and it hasn't been harsh nor zapped again! With liquid pooled (not heavily) that zaps early on, I say wait and see....don't jump the gun!
