I've searched all over (including this forum, of course) and I can't seem to find an answer to my question.
I couldn't find carrot juice at my grocery, so I bought some baby food carrots. It's just carrots and water. Can I use this as part of the water volume that I mix with my lye to make a sort of carrot-juice? Also, when using purees, such as carrot and pumpkin, do you need any kind of preservative?
Someone asked me about carrot-ginger soap and ever since then, I've been interested in trying it.
