No I didn't defrost it - even after at least 24hrs (maybe more..) in the freezer it was slushy, not like frozen.
I scented the whole batch with the FO, separated half out at light trace and added the concentrate to one half of it and used it for a swirl.
I was amazed at how dark the color was, it's a rich chestnutty-mahogany brown and just gorgeous.
I think without the FO there would probably be a little scent but likely pretty faint. The FO really "bolsters" the wine concentrate and makes it stick. I'm about to order more of the FO so I can do another batch.
I did take pics today in the studio, I'll get them up ASAP!
