I'm wondering if anyone here has tried this method? I think it looks terrific and doesn't sound so hard to make.

I've made Nizzy's whipped soaps a few times, lots of fun. I really wish my cupcake deco skills were a little more Martha, if you KWIM, but still they were neat. I frosted cupakes made with cocoa butter scented with Birthday Cake. Smelled positively edible. Teen-aged girls loved them!

They were really easy to make, just follow the directions precisely and be mindful of the temps.

The soap I made on the other hand left a little to be desired in the longevity department. It was a good soap, nice feel, but didn't last. I didn't realize when I made it that most people find whipped soaps to be short-timers. Maybe it has something to do with all the minuscule air pockets holding in water?

Don't last very long. They seem to just melt.

Yes that's right Deda.....whipped soap is at least half air so although you have volume you don't have actual soap weight. My whipped soap bars are only about half the weight of a similar size normal CP bar. But they are fun!

When you frosted with cocoa butter, how did you do that? Do you have pics pretty please?

Hi blue hill - here is the link to Nizzy's site with his whipped soap tutorial and pics:-
