I'd like to make these horizontal stripes but don't know what it's called to research it. Do you know?

It could just be a hanger technique, where they poured their colored soap on one side of the mold, then drug the tool as straight as possible across to the other side, lifting it straight up and out at the end, and repeating multiple times at different heights.
 
I think that is the mantra swirl type pour then a horizontal hanger thru it.

That certainly settles it! Zing and I missed the other post, apparently.

Basically, yes, but you only pull the hanger one way (then out) rather than returning it, and you cut the soap normal, not horizontally.

That technique might be kinda cool if you layered several colors on the one side and drug them out.
