I bought a batch of my favorite oils to scent soap, and there are two I just don't know what to blend with, even after a few sniff tests with q-tips in baggies. They are fir balsam EO and gardenia FO from NDA. The fir makes things smell like cleaning products, and the gardenia smells good with florals except I dislike pure florals.

Here are the mixers I have (all from NDA):
grapefruit FO
eucaluptus globulus EO
cedarwood atlas EO
jasmine FO
ylang ylang FO
rosemary (spanish) EO
lavender 40/42 EO
lemongrass EO
lemon EO

I love fir needle and eucalyptus blended. It's an in-your-face scent, and people either love it or hate it. One of my best sellers though. I wish spruce was affordable, I much prefer it to fir needle, but maybe one day the price will come down...

I love cedar incense oil... strong and true.... but the price! It would cost me $300 to make one 6 pound batch...
