What soapy thing have you done today?

I'm a tidy soaper. I don't have enough room (or time) to be messy. I have everything laid out, organized, and Ready, Set SOAP! I keep a plastic bin (like the ones from the hospitals) near me to put soapy stuff in as I go so I can just take the bin to the sink after the soap is made and covered.

Today, I made another small batch (250g oils) of liquid soap. I am making basically the same recipe as my version of ZNSB (minus the faux seawater), but with KOH instead of NaOH. I figure, at least this way I shouldn't have any bad reactions. It came to trace quicker than I expected which was a lovely surprise. I'll check it for zap tomorrow. 🤞
 
I did all the work and all the pouring and swirling only to discover that I forgot the dang fragrance. Dumped the fragrance in and mixed the colors for a brownish red and added some green and red coloring to the top. It’s supposed to be Vine Ripe Tomato. It’s better than nothing. At least it will look as rustic as it smells.

I wouldn't call myself a "tidy" soaper, but I also have a limited amount of space to work (about 3 1/2 feet of countertop space in the kitchen), so I definitely have to work in stages and keep on top of the mess.

Now cooking, that's a different story!

You have heaps of space to work on, I have 1 foot square bench space that's it and the empty sink, not even the draining bit.
