I am very new to soap making. I have made four batches so far . The first on turned out great. Not sure yet about the other cause they are still curing. But looking back on stuff I read on making soap it seems I forgot to wrap my soap after I pour in the mold. Is this OK or do I need to get ride if the soap. I am not sure what to do!

you don't have to wrap your soap in the mold. But it helps with the appearance... gelling, or not gelling. But the quality of the soap is fine.

Worry not! :) Ditto what LooLee said- the goodness/badness of your soap does not depend on whether you wrapped it after pour or not. Wrapping just helps to encourage the soap to go through the 'gel stage' if you're one of those soapers (such as myself) who happens to like their soap to gel.

I have tried both and it seems that when I cover the molds overnight, the soap usualy has cracks on the top or on the sides....

Also if you could be kind enough to specify what changes whit the soap that went through the gel stage and the one that didn't....

I did not test it yet cause all the batches are still curing... :(
