What Mica to use

Hello,

I am new to soap and am wondering about Mica. I am use to Mica in makeup, such as eyeshadow. Now I am trying to learn more about Mica in soap. I know I can get it from online sellers but I was wondering... Can pure mica eyeshadow work?

You need to choose a mica that will withstand the cp process. I have found that Brambleberry and TBK supplies will list whether a mica will withstand the high pH of cp soaping. Check them out.

I like the micas from The Conservatorie . I blend them with a bit of sweet almond oil then add them to the soap batch. Very nice colors!
