What kind of vinegar do you use?

I've been thinking about revisiting vinegar in my CP soaps. I've only used apple cider vinegar but was wondering what others use. White vinegar (ingredients: acetic acid and water) is much cheaper where I live. Is it just as good for soap making? My main reasons for using vinegar are hardening high OO soap and softer lather (I agree with @AliOop on this one ). What's your favorite vinegar to use in soapmaking?

This subject comes up frequently. I use white vinegar.

I've used both but, as you say, white vinegar is cheaper.

Distilled white vinegar, is what I use in all soaps. It would be too expensive for me to use Apple Cider Vinegar in all my soaps, plus I would not want the color.
