I also messaged WSP, but they won’t reply til morning. Just received this and was excited to sniff it. Holy cow, what is this inside the bottle??? Candy Cane Marshmallow that I wanted to use for a foaming sugar scrub. image.jpg

I thought frozen, too @Mobjack Bay but it’s only California cold here 🤣🥶🤣. I haven’t warmed it past room temp to see if the ?crystallization? would go away. It’s been in my soap room guest bedroom over night and I just checked on it and whatever that is didn’t melt or go away at all. I’m boggled, and can’t wait to hear from WSP. 🤷🏻‍♀️

WSP replied and @Mobjack Bay wins 200 points! 🥰🥰🥰

Thanks for reaching out to us! What you are seeing is a crystallization of one or more of the ingredients in the fragrance oil. That ingredient(s) has a higher freeze temperature than other components and will crystallize and separate during non-temp regulated transit. This tends to happen in colder weather and is perfectly normal, though scary looking! Thankfully, it's an easy fix. Simply put the bottle in a warm (not boiling) water bath and gently shake and/or swirl until the components combine again

Whew!
