So what happens if somebody forgot to add sugar to the lye water and tried to add it after wards and finds a big lump of unmixed sugar in the soap pot after pouring? But the lump is not the full volume of added sugar so some sugar got in somewhere. On cutting the soap the next day there appears to be tiny melted sugar spots on the bars. Um...ahem...asking for...ahem...a friend.
I have had honey spots like that before. They do attract some moisture but the soap works just fine.
