I was at a tackle store and the owners had some goatsmilk soap for sell. But the soap looked gross. It was brown and black and just looked weird. Maybe it was rotting or got burned? It didn't smeelvery good either. I was just wondering because I saw it and wondered how they were going to sell soap like that for $7.00 a bar! And if this was normal.

Well guess what? I saw piles of goat milk soap just like that at my farmer's market. It was gross looking and I did not have the nerve to pick one up and smell it. How in the world can people be selling this stuff? I am only a newbie but my goat milk soap is creamy white and without fragrance still smells slightly sweet and soapy. This is not rocket science! gads.....

Wowser!!! Not only would I NOT smell it, but I definitely would not rub it all over me. Gotta pass the smell-good test first 'cuz I shower nekkid.

Scandalous!

I know.Makes me wonder how long they've been selling it to people? So anyone knows what would cause that? I didn't smell it my sister did. and the look on her face said enough. I didn't want to know what it smelled like.

Was it goat's milk anise soap? That's usually sold in fishing shops. Sounds like it was gross! Wish I saw it... Probably would have been a great confidense booster! :D

My sister once knew a lady that made melt and pour soaps to which was added fresh goatmilk as an additive. It wasn't an MP base that she used that was pre-formulated and ready to buy with goat milk already in it, but a plain MP base that the lady would melt down and add fresh goat milk to. She made them and sold them in stores around town, but one of the stores by my sister's house stopped selling them because after a few months they started smelling pretty yucky and no one would buy them.

I wonder if they are MP?
