What could these marks be?

Hmm, I don't think I have had marks like this pop up in my soap before. I'm tempted to blame the glycerin (mica was dispersed into it) I topped the soap off with. I used too much because the mica/glycerin wasn't staying were I wanted it to and it wound up dripping down the sides of the soap. Oops. Next time I'll make sure the tops of my soap are flat and level.



If it helps any, this batch of soap was made using Avocado, Castor, Coconut, Olive and Shea butter. This batch did overheat so maybe that's a factor too?

So this could just be a sign of overheated soap? Good to know. :) Makes sense too since my smaller loaf made from the same batch of soap didn't overheat and it doesn't have the striations either.
