I was busy this summer testing fragrances in CP soap. I used some of the soap at the one month, three month, and 5 month mark. I am noticing GIANT bubbles from my 5 month old bars. I've read many times that the bar of soap gets better as it ages.

What do you think are the benefits of an older bar of soap?

It’s milder, changes structure and creates better lather and longer lasting. I love using my older soaps. I’m using a couple right now that are 10 months old. Cant explain it bit they are most better to me.

I am using some from a year ago and they are awesome--soooo many more bubbles and the scent is still there--I never sold or gave away cuz I think they are fugly soaps but my they are nice and I am enjoying myself :)

So, I am NOT Crazy! There are some GIANT bubbles coming from my 5 month old soaps that weren't there at the 3 month mark.
Yes.. Keep em around for some more months and you'll like em even more.

@Marilyn Norgart I am also using some several months old soap (one is close to a year) that I kept for myself coz they didn't look nice to gift but I am loving them. Considering that a lot of my initial soaps have no castor oil I still really like the lather..
