I made some soap using WSP's BRV. I got over enthusiastic with the FD&C blue, so the soap was leaving purple marks on the wash cloth. I shredded it. I used part of the shreds in another batch scented with a 1 oz sample of BRV from Bitter Creek North, which is very similar (to my nose) to WSPs. However, now I'm out and I have a lot of purple shreds left. Any blending suggestions?

Oh my, yes! You simply must try mixing it with a lime-scented FO. I make an awesome smelling soap by combining BRV with Daystar's Paradise FO, which is a sparkling lime scent. Everyone in my family loves it!

I blend BRV (favorites are Peaks and Soapsupplies.net) with BB's Champagne. Same idea as Paradise, it is a bubbly, effervescent, festive smell, a little less sweet than Paradise. I use 80% BRV and 20% Champagne, the latter is a v. strong FO which will take over the blend if you're not careful.
