What are these spots?

Does anyone have any clue as to what this spots are? Is it lye? It doesn't zap though.

That looks like stearic spots. Nothing to worry about, just not as aesthetically pleasing as you may like....

Is there anyway to avoid this in future? Also, I just briefly searched re this, but is this a problem with the Palm Oil I used?

eta: It says Palm Oil need to be remelted and mixed before u use to avoid it. The previous batches I made with PO didn't give me this problem. Any other tips to avoid this in future will be much appreciated!

You might want to soap a little warmer. The stearic spots tend to show up when the oils starts getting too cool and the stearic starts to re-crystalize.

I soap at very low temps and many times I've gotten those spots, I always suspected them to be steric acid related but what can I do? I try to avoid gelling, maybe it'll help to decrease palm oil %? :?
