Welcome Rain!
I started planning this soap when this fire season began bringing all its heartache to an already challenging time. This piece was quite the production! Each of 7 raindrops that run through the soap, were shaped by hand. This was my first time making and using soap dough. 7 the number of breakthroughs! Envisioning rain bringing life and greenness to all the dead brown hills. Rain filling the dry creek beds. And, welcoming the feeling of relief when the fires are extinguished.
This is my first time using shea buyer in my formula. I’m very excited for the extra goodness that it’ll bring during the cold months.
This was my first time doing multiple embeds, I’d only done the moon before. It was also my first time doing any piping. The mountains and sky are a simple ITPS.
Scented with EOs of orange, cedar, lemongrass, and a pinch of patchouli.

Wonderful. Can the soap dough be used with any CP soap?
This soap dough is the left overs from my pull through soaps. I usually make little individual cavity soaps with it. But, I watched this video that said I could use my regular recipe and it worked great! I guess you can also buy soap dough. But if you tend to have left over bits, I’d try using your own recipe first. Sorcery soaps makes a soap dough, but I haven’t tried it.

I have no words. Your pull throughs are amazing and now this. Just. stop. You will break the internet. What is sprinkled on the top? Also, was the dough used for the raindrops? And I like and support and pray that what you envision comes true very soon. Well done.
I have been saving my left over batter from the pull throughs and working it into soap dough as shown in the linked video above. It seems to be working great! It’s tallow, avo, rice bran oils w a teeny bit of castor and CO.
The top is sprinkled w NS biodegradable hologlitter. You really can’t tell from a photo how amazing it is. Video really shows all the colors and sparkle. I’ve got video of it on my IG page @harpeya
