Weird scent!

Hi all,
I have made a liquid soap and I have added mixture of powders. After I added the preservative, the paste smells weird or unpleasant scent. Is there any way to solve this problem?

What kind of powders are you adding to LS? I've never heard of that kind of additive in LS. Some preservatives have an unpleasant smell. What are you using? More information is needed.
