Good afternoon everyone,
Can someone suggest somewhere I can purchase a good salt bar. Before making my own I would like to see and feel what it looks like and what all the hooplah is. I am a newbie and already have 60 plus bars of soap curing in my kitchen so I am trying to slow down a bit before making more soap. I would like to make a salt bar but don't want to wait 3 months to see if I like it.

If you want to make your own, just know that you will have to wait months for it to be ready to see if you like it. I probably have one I could part with. I can't guarantee what the fragrance will be though.

I've noticed many of the YT soapers seem to only give their salt bars a standard 4-6 week cure. I truly feel this is a disservice to the salt bar. Tuck them away and forget about them. Maybe keep one around so you can test at different intervals. You'll be surprised at the difference between 3 months and 14 months!

Thanks @dibbles appreciate the offer. A couple of people already sending me their bar. I would feel like I was being greedy by accepting the offer. Also, guess I will just try myself as well and just leave it to cure for at least 3 months. Thanks again.

Don't expect the salt bar to show it's true colors the first couple of times you use it; after curing for so long they need "priming" (probably absorbing moisture to increase solubility) to work well. Enjoy!
