We just rescued & rehabbed a blind boston terrier 8 weeks ago. We were not sure what to do w/ him when we went on vacation, so we took him w/ us  .

Here is the origianl thread on how he came to be with us. http://www.soapmakingforum.com/forum/vi ... ght=walter

Walter had an awesome vacation!

Our family includes a boston terrier named Rupert. They are the most awesome dogs! That's wonderful you adopted him!

I went back to read your old post ,what a beautiful story. We have had some awful things reported in our papers recently about people abusing animals and it just makes me sick to the stomach  .It was lovely to read a good news story about one of our best friends. :D :D

He is so blessed to have you , he looks like a very nice loving dog , I love his face .

Walter is a great dog & sooooooooooo spoiled! He is super well behaved too. He does not get on furnature & or have accidents in the house. He has never ried to eat a shoe ever torn anything up. He doesn't lick or beg for food whan you eat or anything. He does not even notice we have cats. He must have been well loved and well taught at some point in his life. He is perfect on a leash & we have taught him simple commands (since he is blind) like careful, stop, up, down, etc. They come in handy on walks when he has to go up & down curbs, etc.

He is the funiest dog ever. My daughter keeps saying we need to make a youtube video. His newest thing is he has got a ball that is about 9 inches across. It makes him crazy, he gets it betweenn all 4 of his feet & tried to get up on it like the dogs in the circus do. He will run around the room w/ his front 2 feet on it, then his back 2 feet. It is so funny it makes me snort.

Made me LOL I would love to see that trick .I am happy that he is such a great dog , he looks like he is too .

god bless you, tabitha, for the love, patience and charity you have shown this poor creature.

not many would have opened their hearts and home to such a sweet dog.

his death would have almost been guaranteed if you had taken him to a shelter.

you've got a big heart! :D
