No, you don't want that! You never want more water than oil. :shock:

It's 2 parts water : 1 part lye

So if your recipe calls for 6 oz of lye, you would use 12 oz of water.

Thanks, Shawnee. I had been in the habit of using full water lately as I've been doing a lot of swirling, but I think even with a water discount, I would have been fine to swirl this one. However, batch 2 seems to be coming along OK, so crossing my fingers.
