Does anyone have any recommendations for a vanilla cinnamon FO?

In high school I had this candle I loved that was labelled vanilla cinnamon. It was sooo yummy. IIRC, it was mostly vanilla with just a hint of spice.

Now, I don't make candles, but I think it would be a nice scent for soaps too. I know I'd need a vanilla stabilizer and that spices can be tricky.

Most of what I've been seeing on websites are things like 'cinnamon rolls' or other baked goods, not just pure vanilla and cinnamon.

I've been using cinnamon leaf essential oil in my soaps. Initially, it doesn't smell that great, but after a couple days it is lovely. I wonder if it would combine well with vanilla eo or fragrance? I've been wanting to try vanilla eo...
Cheers!

Yes and no. It's gentler although it's very spicy at first- if you're interested in going the eo route :)

Perhaps a vanilla nutmeg FO?

You can also add ground spices to the soap - nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, etc. Clove and cinnamon EO are not horribly expensive, but IIRC, nutmeg EO is very expensive.

This is cheating, but if you have a Bath and Body Works or a Yankee Candle, go in there and smell, then Google to see if you can find a duplicate. A lot of those FOs are offered by different suppliers, usually described as "BB Name of Fragrance Type".

I have a recipe for a blend that I call Snickerdoodle Surprise. It contains vanilla, cinnamon and other spicey EOs. It will turn the soap dark, though. Pm me if you want the recipe.

AHRE has a vanilla nutmeg which is really nice.

If you want to try a blend, 9 parts vanilla to 1 part cassia (cinnamon bark) EO might be a good starting place.
