Valentine soaps!

I tried my first batch with a mold for Valentine's Day! I also used cocoa butter for the first time. Made a 2 lb. batch with 1/2 oz. peppermint EO and 1 oz. Spellbound Woods FO (this was the only thing I had on hand and didn't think the EO was enough!). I loved the way it turned out originally! As it has been curing now for a couple of weeks it has progressively turned more and more brown. I wanted to post a newer picture but the color change just didn't show in the pic. Now the hearts look a dark brown over a lighter brown. The scent is definitely a chocolate mint which is kinda nice! I have a question for all of you more experienced soapers ... a couple of days after removing from the mold I noticed the back of the bars, where it had been uneven, had these white spots - rather thick but patchy, not on the front of the bars nor on the extra soap which I had molded in a quart carton. Any idea what the white patches are? Is it ash?

Valentine soaps

Thank you Dragonkaz for your reply. We did look at the preview of the post but couldn't seem to see the pictures. We finally gave up so I'm glad you were able to see them! I was a bit worried about
those white spots but they are not on the front of the soaps. I haven't seen spots like that yet on any of my soaps but I've only done seven batches so far!
Perhaps I need some advice on how to post pictures to this forum!
