Seems a bit silly of a question. lol...I have what I call "horse hair" It is very thick, and tends to be dry and wiry. I use a leave in conditioner and wondered if I could use the lotion I made up instead...
The recipe is this
6 oz grapeseed oil
3 oz coconut oil
1/2 oz beeswax
2/3 c chamomile infused water
1/3 c aloe juice
1/4 t vit e
5 drops tea tree oil
What do you think? Would it work? :?:

If you try it, I suggest applying it to dry hair before you shhower, and shampoo it out, rather than a leave on, it may be wayy too greasy. Is the coconut oil fractionated or high melting point (76 degree is very pore clogging, even though great for the hair).. beeswax is the only ingredient that i question just because it is a little thicker, all the other ingredients are fine..

You don't have an emulsifier in there to help rinse the lotion out. You may also want to look up pantethol and liquid silk, those ingredients help make conditioner extra nice.

I doubt it will work. 1/2 oz beeswax is a lot and it won't mix with your water based ingredients. You need something like e-wax or BTMS in there to emulsify it. You also need a preservative, unless you're planning on throwing away any extra after about 3 days.

I made the lotion a week ago and no I didn't use it on my hair. :) It turned out ok and blended together just fine...it is still good. :)
